With the current spate of metal thefts in the UK, it seemed a good time to start recording the names on War Memorials around the country. These simple objects are often stolen and sold for scrap metal for a few pounds.

Taking a few minutes to photograph and/or record the names on a plaque may mean that if replaced, the Fallen can continue to be remembered.
